VTwin Wyatt Gatling King 3.1 Gallon Gas Tank fits 1982-1992 Harley Sportster XL

  

Gas tank has a right side petcock location that uses 1975-up type and a fuel capacity of 3.1 gallons. The tank uses the same mounting as an original tank. Tank is made 2 wider than stock and includes stock style mounts.

Check the tank for flaws and fit before painting. Do not grind or sand the seams or joints. Clean the inside of the tank. It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer.

We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean, condition, and seal to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion. Check petcock opening, making sure the petcock can be easily installed. Petcock fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of petcock. NOTE GAS TANKS MY NEED SOME BODY WORK, ALL GAS TANKS WILL NEED TO BE PAINTED. Suggested to use with #38-0317 Chrome Ratcheting Style Vented Gas Cap. Bottom length: 15-1/2" Rear Width: 6".
